BabaGhanouj is one of the many ways to prepare eggplant in the Arab world. The ingredients in all these variants are garlic and sesame paste.
- 2 large eggplants
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 green onions
- 1 red (or green) pepper cut into small pieces
- 2 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 hot pepper (optional)
- salt to taste
- for decoration: 1 cucumber, mint leaves, olive oil, lemon slices
Preparation time: less than 90 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Baba Ghanouj (eggplant salad -Arab style) -Fast:
Eggplants cooked on the stove are peeled and allowed to drain.
After they have cooled, chop them finely.
Add the garlic passed through the garlic press, finely chopped green onions and the rest of the ingredients.
Decorate with mint leaves, cucumbers, lemon slices and olive oil.
