To enjoy a real Mexican tortilla, you first need the following ingredients:

Let them bake for about 2 minutes on each side or until they no longer look like raw dough.

Ingredients for 6 servings of Tortilla for breakfast:

Honestly, I don't think this recipe has any other origin than the ingenuity of a housewife who decided to use some leftover food from the kitchen to offer the hungry family something delicious and fast. It goes perfectly with a lettuce, a Mexican salsa, cream or a delicious guacamole.
Quesadilla has two basic parts: tortilla and stuffing. Traditionally, tortilla is made from cornmeal. After the Spanish conquest of the New World, the wheat flour tortilla also appeared under European influence.
The basic filling for quesadilla is cheese, easy to deduce from the very name of the preparation, cheese means cheese. If, in addition to cheese, you decide to add boiled or fried meat, cut or broken into strips, it is your choice, there is nothing wrong but it is not mandatory.
Doing a search on which type of cheese would be more suitable for quesadilla, I concluded that you can use any cheese, cheese that has the ability to melt and spread. I would have liked to add some corn in my quesadilla and I prepared all the ingredients at hand, in small bowls, including the grains from a can of sweet corn, well drained of liquid. By the time I returned twice through the kitchen, two notorious greedy people, whom I was wondering why I didn't say a word, made the corn disappear! So, my dear ones, I will ask you to imagine that there is corn in my quesadilla, although only my boys enjoyed it.
